About Our Team

I am a yoga teacher, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Advanced Grief Specialist who believes in the profound connection between movement, mindfulness, and healing. I first began practicing yoga consistently in 2008, returning to it off and on until 2019, when I reconnected with the practice while working as an emergency mental health provider. Yoga became a space where I could nurture and care for my well-being amid the emotional and mental demands of my profession.
Recognizing the transformative power of yoga in my own life, I decided to deepen my practice. In 2023, I pursued and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training, shortly after opening Mountain Roots Yoga & Wellness Studio. With a deep commitment to holistic wellness, I integrate my knowledge of grief, trauma, and emotional well-being into each class. I strive to create a welcoming space where students can explore self-awareness, healing, and growth.
Whether leading a grounding flow, a meditative sound bath, or a trauma-informed practice, I am passionate about making yoga accessible and inclusive, honoring each student's unique experience on the mat. I weave together mindful movement, breathwork, and intention-setting to help students reconnect with themselves, both physically and emotionally.
I’m truly excited to welcome you to Mountain Roots Yoga & Wellness Studio and to begin this journey together. Whether you're joining us for a gentle yoga, hatha yoga, a relaxing sound bath, or just a quiet moment of connection, I look forward to creating a space where you can explore your practice and find what brings you peace. My fellow yogi and I are here to support you, and we can’t wait to connect with each of you as you discover your own path to well-being. Here's to cultivating balance, peace, and a sense of community, both on and off the mat!
